Very happy to announce that YiRang Shin has successfully defended her PhD thesis today! YiRang has brought incredible expertise of machine learning to the lab and has done some landmark work of building deep learning tools for super-resolution ultrasound localization microscopy. She has also become a master of ultrasound sequence programming on the Verasonics® systems and developed a sophisticated 3D nonlinear imaging sequence for 3D ULM. We are fortunate to have YiRang stay with us as a postdoctoral research associate. We can't wait to continue advancing ultrasound imaging at Duke BME!!
